GreaterGood South Africa brings good causes and committed givers together in meaningful and innovative ways to end poverty in South Africa. We believe in results-driven giving, seeking out opportunities that will have a measurable, life-changing impact on people and their communities.
We work to level the playing field by giving small, pioneering non profit organisations the same access to funds and capacity development as the better-known causes.
Since its launch in 2004, GreaterGood SA has made a significant contribution to development in South Africa. We have:
* engaged millions of visitors and thousands of corporate and individual donors
* registered over 2,000 organisations on this website
* raised R22 million for good causes
* generated 50,000 hours of volunteer skills and time
* facilitated the distribution of 900,000 second hand or surplus goods
We provide Corporate Social Investment services to more than 65 corporate clients – from major players in the South African economy to small and medium sized businesses who want their CSI budget to have a real, lasting impact.
Our SA Social Investment Exchange (SASIX) makes carefully selected development projects available as investment opportunities with a social return. SASIX also gives you the opportunity to create your own Giving Foundation – a personalised charitable fund which you can set up as a family, an individual or as a business.
