We must protect Hong Kong's marine life & environment
Hong Kong's marine life is potentially amazingly vibrant. Very, very small pockets still exist that show how wonderful this could be. However the reality is that Hong Kong marine environment is at a major crisis point, a fishing industry that continues to decimate the environment and continues to be supported by the government as well as the unsustainable habits of the Hong Kong seafood consumer is creating a marine environment that is literally at the point of collapse. But it is not yet TOO late.We are very concerned that not enough is been done to protect Hong Kong's marine life and marine environment. It is out of site out of mind, I suppose but is an incredibly short sighted view. Specifically we are concerned that the Hong Kong government is not acting decisively to ensure the future of a wonderful resource for the whole of Hong Kong's population.Please do sign this partition so that we can start to influence the government in a positive way.
