Empower A Woman

Opening Doors (Maria House and Teresa Shelter) provide transitional housing and emergency shelter to over 200 homeless women and children in the greater tri-state area each year. The programs give women the tools necessary to become self-sufficent and the support they need to cope with problems such as mental illness, substance abuse, domestic violence, loss of employement, etc.
