TESTIMONIAL REPEATED:
2.1 million students worldwide
22,400 schools, organizations, NGOs
100 plus countires networked !
That's iEARN.
You can join iEARN by visiting www.iearn.org and sending an application to your country co-ordinator.
In the eight months of becoming a part of this organization I have found one more layer of convergence-through-networking going on in a different way - the nurturing of global partnerships in students.
My personal and family experience of being part of iEARN is wonderful. Students, Teachers and Resource persons first come together in forums to discuss projects. Then the project is made real at the level of student activism. And iEARN arranges to bring teachers and students together at different venues in different countries at an amazing rate of frequency and an amazing range of projects !
At Vishwasanskruti-on-Indrayani Ashram we have a motto: 'Networking Networks.'
I believe iEARN and www.change.org to be two of thousands of wonderful global citizenship networks which are reaching out to each other across our planet - determined to create a shield to heal our planet.
We are already in the Era of Convergence 2001 - 3000 AD and the first 25 years are the time to gather together the corner-stone of the foundation for the future.
