A fundraiser for Mabel

Hi!

I first saw Mabel on a petfinder page that a friend sent me. She was being held at the Savannah, GA Animal Control facility and she was scheduled to be euthanised. We decided that we had to get her out of there. We could not let her die without ever having known love.

 Her wonderful foster mom went to Savannah AC on Tuesday 7/1 and picked Mabel up 5 mintues before they closed for the day. She was scheduled to die the next morning.

She is now safe and getting her health back at her foster home. When she is fit and ready she will be making her move to her rescue in Chicago and we will do everything in our power to make sure that she finds a loving home!

Thank you all so much for your support in helping to save Mabel. I really appreciate it more than I can say. I know that the plight of dogs like Mabel is important to anyone who is looking at this page, and I feel honoured to be part of such a wonderful, caring group of people.

I can't wait to see Mabel healthy and happy!
