Mwanjab is 28 years old. She is married with 3 children aged 9, 5, and 3 years old. She has been a clothes (khanga: traditional Tanzanian cloth worn as a wrap) seller since 2005. Every day, she works from 9am to 10pm at her business and can earn a monthly profit of about US$ 250 from her sales.
Mwanjab now hopes for a loan to buy more clothes (khanga) for her business. She will share this loan with her subgroup members Zainab and Fatma, who have businesses dealing with kiosk ownership and clothing sales.
